extra action The extra action of the swinging hook on the Biffle Hardhead means more fish in the boat. I used it all last year on my soft plastics, especially the Biffle bug, and caught more fish as well as larger fish than with other presentations. My experience was that the heaviest weight was best unless you're fishing in under 5 feet of water, in which case I would use the next heaviest weight. I wound up not using the lighter weights at all. The plastics want to rise in the water column, so you need the heavier weights to keep them down. April 4, 2012
Wish the Hook Sizes would Match the Bug I'm a Smallmouth River Rat LOL ! So I Ordered The Smaller 3.5 New Biffle Bug Jr. The Smaller Size I feel would work Better in Rivers Here In the Ozarks.. Then the Flood Came In Late Summer of 2013 Lots of Flow and Need More Weight to Get the Bait Down to the Bottom. The 3/16 with 3/O Hook works with the New Size but when You have to go up to bigger 5/16 or More they Made the Hook 4/O and is Kinda big for the 3.5 Bug ..I Just wish Gene Larew Made a Larger Size weight with that 3/O Hook. Just a over Site On there Part ... August 18, 2013
Why didn't I think of this I ordered this a couple of weeks ago and have used them on two fishing trips. The way the hook swings freely gives any soft plastic alot of action. Such a simple design I can't believe it took this long to come out. Since the water is still cold where I fish, I have been using senko style baits. Amazing to cast on baitcaster and spinning. Paint has not chipped at all. I would highly recommend this product. I am going to order lighter waits for finesse worms. March 2, 2011
Great product I've tried other jointed jig heads but this one is the best. The hook is really strong and sharp and holds biffle bugs or chigger craws really well. The hinged design crawls over rocks well and you can run them like a spinner bait with a biffle bug and get some great action. Cold days I've banged up across rocks and gotten a lot of fish. The paint really stays after days of use. Hnads down best jointed jighead on the market. April 28, 2011

Yes, lead with a very durable paint coating. These jigheads impart amazing action to whatever plastic lure they're used with.
