The Biffle Bug is another one of Tommy Biffle's creations and it incorporates several top features from the Gene Larew Biffle-O bait series into one compact bait that is perfect for almost any situation. In addition to its solid head and hollow body cavity designed to hold a round rattle, the Biffle Bug features evenly spaced ridges from nose to tail, hyper-active swimming legs, six side tentacles, special foot pad and a flexible tail that is convex on the backside: all this combines to give this unique bait its lifelike action and vibration every time it rubs against limbs, rocks or grass. Biffle Bugs give anglers a high-action bait that can be fished a variety of ways: Texas, Carolina or jig-rigged, with legs on or pinched off, flipped, pitched or swam. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Lure Pinch the legs off. Pinch the tail off. so many different ways to present this lure. First time out, real cold water, no bites. Pinched off the tail, and 2 cast later 3lb bass. 11/16 hardhead,pinched off the legs, and 3 more 2pounders! Shallow or deep great lure! March 4, 2011

Rated 4 out of 5 by Biffle Bug Product works really well on largemouth bass. The rattle helps the bass to locate the bait even in stained water. The only down side to the bait is that it tears some what easily. They are good for two or three good hard strikes. Four is the max, then it's time to tie on a new one. Glue usually won't repair it because of the rattle causes it to tear in irregular lines. Great bait though. Well worth the money. August 26, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bad Bug Thought I would give it a try since T. Biffle won tournament using it. Fished it on weedless jig with most of hair trimmed back. Threw it to rock walls and also submerged willow grass in Occoquan Reservoir in N. Va. Bass definitely tried to kill and eat this bug. I would like to try it on jig head Biffle used in tournament. Apparently the jig gives it a side to side or wiggle motion which I think would really drive bass crazy. I believe jig(Larew Lures) is not available yet but I am sure BPS will carry it when it is.
