The Biffle Bug is another one of Tommy Biffle's creations and it incorporates several top features from the Gene Larew Biffle-O bait series into one compact bait that is perfect for almost any situation. In addition to its solid head and hollow body cavity designed to hold a round rattle, the Biffle Bug features evenly spaced ridges from nose to tail, hyper-active swimming legs, six side tentacles, special foot pad and a flexible tail that is convex on the backside: all this combines to give this unique bait its lifelike action and vibration every time it rubs against limbs, rocks or grass. Biffle Bugs give anglers a high-action bait that can be fished a variety of ways: Texas, Carolina or jig-rigged, with legs on or pinched off, flipped, pitched or swam. Regardless of how it's rigged and fished, the Biffle Bug screams ''easy meal!''

Rated 3 out of 5 by Biffle buggin's not for me! I bought two packs of these and bought the weighted football head EWG hooks to go with them. I just had to try them a year or so ago when Tommy Biffle won in Oklahoma Biffle buggin' across the bottom! I've had very limited success with these baits. I've tried them as a lighter alternative to football head jigs and drug them near the banks around riprap in the early spring. I have absolutely no confidence in the bait and don't see the reason for the high price, other than an Elite BASS pro uses them on tour. Maybe other folks have had success and can offer tips, but in my opinion you're better off buying BPS beaver baits and flippin them versus payin a high price for these and strugglin'! Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent bait Just got a chance to use these on a North Country lake for largemouth. Got good fish when nothing else was working. Used it as a jig trailer for fishing canary grass and reeds, some pads. Not so good in wild rice where a more slippery bait is more effective. I strongly recommend this bait. August 16, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by You need to try this lure I have started using the Biffle Bug over the past month and have had great results. the last three tournaments I've been in this month I placed 3rd, 4th, and 5th.......(thats a big improvment for me) all on The BUG!. No doubt i am catching bigger fish using the Biffle Bug. Just try it and you'll see. June 10, 2011
