Gateway waterproofing powder for arrow fletches (feathers) really work. Stick them in a plastic bag, sprinkle in some powder, shake and rub and you are good to go.

I bow hunted on a rainy day last year and almost all my feathered arrows were ruined. This year I used this waterproofing powder by Gateway Feathers.
The .25 oz bottle is more than enough to treat a dozen arrows (i used a Ziplock bag) - and it worked great.
So far, so good. Scent free as advertised - and 1 wet day, my feathers still look like new.
This powder is AMAZINGLY light - do this job outdoors ! I can't imagine trying to clean up inside if this powder gets spilled. It floats all over...
