Excellent soft bait
Been using for couple years now and never lets me down. When it's a slow bite and you need to down size and use finesse try the shad shape worm - natural shad....Both smallmouth & largemouth they just seem to like it . just enough salt to make it attractive. I throw every time I am on the water...

Yamamoto shad shape worms
If you like fishing for smallmouth in the northeast, this is a go to bait. Yes, Gulp alive is a fantastic bait, but the smallmouth just devour these things. They are a fragile bait, so be careful with them as they are NOT cheap. I use the baby bass color exclusively!

great finesse bait
this bait is great, drop shot, weightless or on a charlie brewer slider head, smallies will eat this thing when their jaws are locked up. gp, smoke, or shad colors are good choice for crystal clear h2o. any time fish are off the bottom throw this thing

Rig it on a 5/0 EWG hook. No weight. Just tie the hook on the line. Heave it out anywhere, esp. in wood, let it fall on slack line. Feel for the "tick" or watch to see the line "swim" off. Reel down to feel it and swing!
