Gary Yamamoto Shad Shape Worm - 3-3/4''
For me, when all else fails, I go to these and catch fish. I have even caught a huge rainbow trout with the Yamamoto d-shape shad. I have found that the Owner hooks with the spiral work the best as the bait lasts for about 8 bass before they are torn apart as opposed to 4-5 fish on regular worm hooks. The darker colors consistently work the best. Buy some and you will NOT be disappointed.

Many uses fit it...
It's a great tiny bait !
Of course it works very well on drop shot rig, but you would miss a lot if you don't try it on mini jigs or for sight fishing : split shot 3/32 oz, nose rigged or wacky rigged on a drop shot gamakatsu hook #4, with 4 lbs line on finesse gear for spooky finicky big bass....
Try it that way ! You'll enjoy catching fish like that...

I use this bait on shaky head rigs in rivers in Korea for bass and it has now replaced "regular" worms for most of my fishing. The only issue is that being from Yamamoto, they're very soft and don't last. I feel that it's a small price to pay for getting so many bites.
I concur that the smoke color works best (at least for me).

Excellent soft bait
Been using for couple years now and never lets me down. When it's a slow bite and you need to down size and use finesse try the shad shape worm - natural shad....Both smallmouth & largemouth they just seem to like it . just enough salt to make it attractive. I throw every time I am on the water...
