Tested and proven on California lunkers, Gary Yamamoto's Senko has quickly become a sensation throughout the United States. The Senko's salt impregnated, has a healthy profile, casts like a bullet, and features a unique smooth-and-even horizontal fall when fished weightless or wacky style. It's not magic, but it's pretty darn close.

Simply a dynamite bait almost year round! Rigged weedless, wacky or weighted they just get the job done time and time again!

These stick baits are tough to beat. For whatever reason Yamamato is able to make their baits somewhat softer and that has proven a big plus in getting the fish to hang on to the bait longer, resulting in a much higher hook up ratio than most competitors I have tried. Conversely, it also means that they don't last as long. Purple has taken over as the best color in the last 2 years for me. Used to be watermelon with black and junebug. The old Natural shad is also hard to beat if the fish are not biting.

That is what makes them good but you go through a ton of them. Personally I prefer the Yum Dinger & would buy those first.
