Tested and proven on California lunkers, Gary Yamamoto's Senko has quickly become a sensation throughout the United States. The Senko's salt impregnated, has a healthy profile, casts like a bullet, and features a unique smooth-and-even horizontal fall when fished weightless or wacky style. It's not magic, but it's pretty darn close.

good weightless worm Ive caught some of my biggest bass with this bait. especially the 6 inch one. " GO BIG OR GO HOME" thats what i say. rigg them with a 5/0 hook and your good to go. they rip easily tho. catch and release November 15, 2010
Best of the best The Gary Yamamoto Senkos are simply the best plastic worms that I have ever used. They cast like a bullet and I often catch bass on the first cast. These worms have a unique fall that are worth the money. However, after one fish or even a bite the worm will be ruined simply because of the terrible durability. Still if you like throwing plastic worms I would definitely buy a couple of bags of Senkos. January 13, 2011
set it! the yamamoto worms are the most productive large mouth bass baits i have used. they are soft and dont last to long, however they catch so many fish that its worth it. if you want to make your fishing trip worth while dont cheap out. try them texas or wacky weightless. they may last longer if you try the wacky o-ring tool. try several colors 5inch or 6inch. best plastic on the market by far the most productive soft plastic on the market! They may be expensive and short lived but the time they save you in finding fish is priceless! If your gonna buy them make sure to buy 2pks. you wont be sorry. August 10, 2009

Honestly, I can't see how anything could bite on one. Fish will bite on anything, but I'm surprised to hear that they actually work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You use a 2/0 to 5/0 worm hook like a Gamagatsu and you thread thru the front through the seam and into the spot where hook shank comes to and out and then thread the point back into worm just a 16th of an inch to make it weedless. Look at how to hook plastic worm weedless articles. This is the best bass bait in the world. I kid you not.

fish it weedless. Size 4 wide gap hook, feed at least an inch and up to 2 inched of the bait over the point of the hook, then pull it out of the side and feed the rest of the hook turn it 180 degrees and measure where the bottom if the hook lines up, bend the worm slightly and reinsert the hook all the thru the bait. Then push 1/16" of the hook back in the bait. The bait should be straight when you are finished. Cast to 1-10 feet of water and let the bait sink - the longer you leave it the better. 90% of the fish come on the fall or in the first 10 feet of the retrieve. Reel it back and try it again. Watch the line closely because with it weightless you don;t really have contact and bites can go undetected.

I use the rubber o-rings and a senko tool to put the o-ring in the correct spot. It seems they work best with the ring a little off center. Then you use a circle hook placed through the 0-ring, not the Senko. Throw out the Senko and the Bass will almost always hit it on the fall.If you feel the hit simple start reeling in the line and a circle hook will set itself. it's as easy as this, good luck!

Hook it right in the middle so the worm sinks like it fell into the lake. You can buy wacky rig o rings that you put in the middle of the worm and it will help the worms last longer. You can use weedless hooks for heavy weeds. When you get into this type of fishing there are many things you can do with nail tip weights to make one end fall faster and tumble the worm or to make it fall deeper. That should get you started. Good luck!

Texas rig it check it out on google. No weight though let it free fall. The worm will have a horizontal fall and will wiggle and the bass go nuts.
