Gary Yamamoto's Double Tail Grub was proven effective for California lunkers, and is quickly becoming a big bass-catching sensation throughout the U.S. Healthy profile, salt impregnated, a nice smooth-and-even fall rate and unbeatable dancing action are just a some of the characteristics that make the Double Tail Grub the perfect tournament bait.
Gary Yamamoto Skirted Double Tail Grub
The twin tail grub is a good spring time bait. The color and action give it a life-like action. One criticism is its lack of durability. These grubs tear easily and usually are only good for two or three catches.

So many options out there now, I just don't fish this one enough. This is a great all-season bait.

I bought a pack of these this spring just to try something different than the Senko's. Boy am I glad I did.
I run the dark green Texas-rigged on braid. It has been amazing. The second fish I caught on it was a 21", 5.5lb largemouth. For some reason, this bait only catches big fish. Rarely anything under legal size. I went back to the store and bought all they had.
Recently I tried some of the other lures in my box just for some variety... Nothing else worked. Halfway through my trip, I changed back, and immediately the fish were back on.
I love the action, and with the lakes/ponds that I fish, weedless is an absolute necessity. It's a little tough to pull through lily pads, but with the Texas rig, it floats over the top of most other weeds.
The big ones hit it hard.
Keep them away from the sunfish, they like to pick the tails off of them. Pickerel love them too. I've lost a lot of rigs to their teeth.
Pros: Great action, always catches the fish.
Cons: expensive, not very durable, doesn't cast as far as senkos
Bottom line, these things catch big bass. It's worth the money.

GREAT GO TO BAIT
I USED THESE FOR QUITE AWHILE NOW AND THEY ALWAYS SEEM TO CATCH FISH WHEN NOTHING ELSE DOES. THEY DON'T NEED ANY SPECIAL ATTRACTANT TO ENTICE FISH, THEY JUST PLAIN WORK. WE USUALLY PAIR THEM WITH A CHOMPERS STAND UP JIG HEAD.
