Gary Yamamoto Double Tail Grubs - 5''
Yamamoto in the clear!
This is the lure to use in clear waters! The plastic is so soft that the bass will not let go as the "feel" is so natural. This is why the bait may not last as long as others, but I catch more bass with this bait than others. This lure will react with the slightest of twitches.
There are many other colors to choose from. I'm hoping Bass Pro will add a few more.

not a big fan
This trailer is great out of the pack, but it gets the "droops" pretty fast. Loses it's action and does so pretty quickly.

Great frog imitator :]
I often use these lures weightless with a spinning reel as a frog imitator. Just slide it over some lily pads or floating grass and let the bass pound it. Caught some good size bass and i've seen my uncle catch a good one out of a pond around a submerged log. Around 7 pds. Great size. Ate the little devil whole too :]]

I love Yamamoto's baits, and these are no exception. I rig them on smaller 1/16 or 1/8 ounce jig heads for a slower fall rate or just for dragging/bouncing slowly along the bottom. There is just something about these baits, that even in the dead of the winter when the bite is very slow, the fish just inhale.
