Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 58 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very nice I purchased this bait the other day and gave it a try... worked best for me in pretty thick stuff buzzing it on top or stop and go just under the surface, like how Roland Martin did it the other day, I dont know it you saw it, but that is how he was fishing it and it worked. Lacking in the durability area, but I really don't care about that if it works. October 20, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by great swimbait i like this bait! it has that senko look when sinking but with an added twitch in the tail. when i swim it i put a barrel swivel about 12" above it to eliminate line twist. it's good in thick vegetation as well. fish it slow , it will catch big fish foryou and don't forget the swivel---------- October 10, 2007
Rated 4 out of 5 by Do The Twist! This bait Twists my line so bad! I'm lucky i have a decent reel that works the twist out so it's not that bad. This lure catches fish very well, the action is wonderful . The tail sometimes gets bent in one direction or another that's why it can twist like it does for me. Go get some and remember, jerk or twitch & pause my friends! July 18, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME!!!!! This is the best soft bait I've ever used.......I catch fish on this bait more consistantly than any other bait I use. I keep 2-3 bags in my tackle at all times. Bass explode on this bait. The action is great and is super easy to use. July 6, 2007

I fish it in heavy weed beds along the bank on a boat and it stands up well. I rig it "wacky" style.

I've never fish at night with these but I'm sure it could be interesting. I think you should rig it with a 5/0 weighted hook and maybe a rattle tube inserted in the back portion of the swim senko....give it a try and please, let us know if it was good.

Weightless Texas rig it if going into weeds or lily pads. Texas rig it on a 1/4 oz shaky head jig or with a 1/4 oz bullet slip sinker to keep it more evenly keeled if there arent weeds or pads around.

A:
I have fished it weightless, with the smallest slip sinker possible, and with a weighted hook depending on wind and conditions. Works best in vegatation - slow retrieve through the grass.

You should go Texas. It'll let the paddle tail do the job.

Use either a 3/0 or 4/0 weighted swimbait hook. If you go weightless, use a 5/0 Gamakatsu EWG Superline hook. The 4/0 Owner Twistlock light swimbait hook was specifically designed for this bait, and it seem to work the best in my opinion. It will also help to make your bait last longer. Good luck.

It depends on what you want to do with it. If you want a slow moving bait that stays off the bottom go weight less I like texas rigs too. If you want this lure near the bottom us a carolina rig with a bullet sinker above the barrel swivel. I always make mine weedless by using offset shank worm hooks.
