Not only does the Garmin nüvi 2495LMT execute voice commands, but advanced lane guidance (with photoReal junction view in select metropolitan areas) takes the guesswork out of which lane you need to be in to make an upcoming turn. Garmin Guidance 2.0 allows you to look up addresses and services before being guided with voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions with spoken street names. Speed limits for most major roads are also indicated. The nüvi comes preloaded with maps for North America plus more than eight million points of interest. You can even add your own. And, Park Position recall helps you remember where you parked your car.
A microSD™ card slot allows you to store and use detailed cityXplorer™ maps or download custom voices and vehicles from the Garmin Garage. Bluetooth® connectivity lets you make and take hands-free calls. A “Where am I?” emergency locator provides your exact latitude and longitude coordinates, the nearest address and intersection, and the closest hospitals, police stations and more, while Enhanced Exit Services tells you what services you’re approaching on the highway. Use in portrait or landscape modes.
Also included are preloaded City Navigator® NT North America, 3D traffic receiver with vehicle power cable, vehicle suction cup mount, a USB cable and the Garmin Quick Start Manual.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BuffaloBandit Good Garmin I have been using this Garmin for a few months now and it has worked well and has had all the streets I needed. This is my second Garmin and the upgrade has been good. The visuals are good but I have an issue with the speaker. The mount I have covers up the speaker and it is hard to hear. Over all this is a good GPS for the price. September 12, 2012
