This unit has replaced two older units, why did I wait so long???? The picture on the screen is clear and the set-up was a snap (once I had the transducer plug all the way into the unit. Using it now in freshwater lakes and later will use it to find Salmon and Rock Fish.

I have a garmin 300c and all the cables are still working well.if i get this as an upgrade can i just plug it in to the old garmin 300c cable or do i have to change the wires
