Take geotagged pictures, share your waypoints, tracks, routes and geocaches wirelessly with other compatible Garmin GPS users. The Montana 650 locates your position quickly and precisely and maintains it, even in heavy cover and deep canyons. A dual battery system allows you to use a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack or traditional AA batteries. The Montana 650 supports geocaching GPX files for downloading geocaches and details straight to your unit.
The unit uses map data to display your "full track view" and logs waypoints, tracks, caches, etc. on your calendar for review at a later date. Changes to night mode automatically. The Garmin Montana 650 so far appears to be a great investment. I have downloaded so of the free maps available on the internet and they work great. Still learning all this unit has to offer. Can see and read screen in the sunlight as well as on overcast days. Also love the ability to from car straight to trail. I would recommend this GPS highly.
