Gamo Tomahawk .177 Caliber Pellets are designed with a dual purpose in mind. These high performance pellets carry maximum shock and expansion while maintaining the accuracy usually found in a Match pellet. The Tomahawk forms a perfect mushroom shape that flattens on impact for full energy transference. Velocity: 960 fps. 7.8 grains. 750 pellets.

Good Pellet I just recently replaced and old scope with a Pursuit 3-9x32 22 scope. After sighting it in with old pellets I was getting poor results with pointed pellets. I switched to hollow points and accuracy got better, not good. I bought these and RWS Super H Point. These grouped around 1" maybe a little more. As for penetration the pellets completely buried themselves in a 2x12 with maybe 1/16" past the face of the wood. The expansion was not very noticeable. I did notice that the pellet was about 1/2 the original length and that they were slanted. I think the description from the company is very close to the truth. I can't vouch for expansion. All the pellets seemed to be uniform as to how the fit the barrel. I noticed this by how all the pellets seemed to insert with about the same fit into barrel. I have an old break barrel rifle and I can't attest to how they drop varmits yet, but time will only tell. Seems to be a good fit for a $300+ air rifle. July 23, 2014
Inconsistent These would work for just plinkin' around, but if that's all you're doing you're probably using match points. These just don't shoot as tight a pattern as most other lead pellets. The Crosman Destroyers are a very similar design for hunting, but shoot a much tighter pattern in my Gamo Hornet. And if I'm going to shoot at an animal, I want to know exactly where the round is going! December 14, 2012
Okay Not the best, but every lead pellet has there deformities I shoot Gamo Hornet and its okay but that is just because of the rifle January 6, 2012
garbage these things are all over the place i was shooting sub 1" groups with premiere ultra magnum 10.5 gr pellets. these are all different sizes some i have to cram in the barrel and some don't even grab the rifling. what a waste of money September 22, 2011
