Be ready for great performance on your next airgun hunt with Gamo's latest state-of-the-art hunting pellet, the Red Fire®. Built around a diamond-shaped, hard polymer tip, this advanced pellet provides a true ballistic trajectory and an effective and balanced mushrooming effect after impact. Designed to ensure intense penetration and effective expansion, the Red Fire's tip pushes back into the pellet's cylindrical jacket upon impact. As the tip moves back into the jacket, it forces the jacket material outward for an effective and balanced mushrooming effect through the intended target. 150 count.

Good Product Accurate, consistent in siting in the pellute gun. You will not be disappointed! August 7, 2011
#1 Pellet on the Market Today I have a Gamo Hunter 220 Pellet Gun 1200fps and I have shot almost every pellet available. I have shot high dollar pellets by RWS and Crosman but have yet to find a better pellet than the Red Fire Pellet. I can shoot hole in hole shots at 20 yards with this pellet. Other gamo and RWS pellets will not shoot this accurately. Don't waist money on other pellets because these are the most accurate pellets you can buy for your gamo pellet gun. (I'm not quite certain how this pellet will shoot in other name brand guns.) The best part about this pellet compared to other pellets is how tight it fits in the barrel. This is very important when choosing the right pellet because you don't want air to get around the pellet. This will reduce speed and accuracy. The other great thing about this pellet is the penetration on small game. This red fire pellet blows completely through the animal. It's not like other pellets that just nock the animal down. Bass Pro Shops price of $8.99 is the lowest available online so if penetration, expansion, and unbelievable accuracy is what you want, buy these pellets. They are well worth the money. Nice Pellets I got these for hunting and couldn't ask for a better pellet. The polymer tip provides great accuracy and deep penetration. Small Game Beware! December 29, 2009
Good pellets They have great expansion but not as good as the Crossman Destroyer EX. These are very accurate pellets. Very, very well made(high quality). They fit snuggly in the breach of my Winchester which like because I don't know how many times a cheap pellet would fall out of my gun as I closed the barrel and ended up missing a squirrel and having to shot at a target to sight it back in, instead of shooting at them blasted tree chickens. You can actually take out the red tip with your fingers an a pair of pliers and they make a very deep hollow point. April 24, 2014

A:
They are great pellets for hunting I have used them and taken many squirrels and birds with them. But if I had a choice I would choose the Crossman Destroyer EX. Not just the destroyer. I have done test on all my pellets and out of the Redfire, Destroyer, and the Destroyer EX the destroyer EX had the best expansion. They all sounded about the same, and they are all very accurate.

i love the destroyer's! for me they have been really accurate. i never thought they would be accurate, i was totally suprised. and they do exactly what their called. they destroy what ever they hit. ive compared them to regular hollow points and i think they do more damage. i like the perfect hole they make at entry and the big hole on exit. those polymag pellets are really accurate, their nice. i dont think they do as much damage as the destroyer. their the most expensive pellets ive seen. i bought 1 tin and their nice, but i probably wont buy any more because of the price. i would only buy them for a special occasion.

These claim to increase velocity and accuracy, how do they compare to basic Crosman Pointed pellets?

A:
These are much better because they expand a lot more causing more damage. I have both types. I use the Crosman Pointed pellets for target practice. For hunting, I use the Redfire pellets.

I'm not quite sure if these red fire pellets increase velocity but they are deadly accurate with gamo pellet guns. I have the gamo hunter 220 and these pellets are the best I've ever shot compared to RWS and Crosman. I can shoot hole in hole at 20 yards consistantly. These are the best pellets for a gamo gun without a doubt.

being honest i think it wouldn't matter that much then the weight is more at the back of the pellet and that it might cut through the air better because theres no jagged stone at the point of the pellet.

I don't know I have never shot the predator pellets before, but the gamo pellets a the second best pellet I have ever shot. I have killed plenty of squirrels, turtles, birds, and rabbits with the gamo. But the pellet that preforms the best in my test I run on all my pellets and the small game I have killed with it, is the Crossman Destroyer EX. But the gamo is a great pellet and their aren't many pellets as good.

I've never shot the predator pellets out of my gamo hunter 220 pellet gun so I would'nt have a difinitive answer. I would suggest that if you own a gamo pellet gun you should definately buy these pellets. They are specifically made to fit inside of a gamo barrel tightly. I have shot pellets from RWS and Crosman but these pellets are the most accurate. I can shoot hole in hole shots at 20 yards.

lead. don't buy pba pellets they don't expand they don't deform inside of the animal at all. if you wanted to you could shot the same pba pellet 3 times before it even changed shape a little. But these gamo pellets are very good quality and have amazing penetration and expansion.

Lead base with a polymer point. Drives back into lead and cause expansion. Not quite a hollowpoint, but does expand. I have tried other options and for me these are performing the best. I am knocking down squirrels, reds and grays at up to 100' with very effective results.

These pellets are lead pellets with a red polymer (plastic) tip. Gamo makes a polymer tip pellet made out of alloy called the Blue Flame pellet that will increase your velocity. I like the red flame lead pellet because they are heavier and they are more accurate than alloy pellets. These are the best pellets available today.
