I bought one of these sling shots, got it home, and on the third pull the sight pin (plastic) broke. Three or four shots later, the pouch broke and the band popped my arm.
There is a note in the box from the manufacturer that says STOP and call or email the manufacturer when you have a problem. It further says don't take it back where you bought it. I guess they don't want the store to know they are selling an inferior product. So I emailed the manufacturer. After a two day wait, their response was that this item only has a 30 day warranty, which means the first time I use it after 30 days, it will break, and no longer be of any use to me, so it is a waste of my money.
So, I took it back to Bass Pro Shops, and those exceptionally top notch people took it back without question, and let me exchange it for a different brand, which has given me no trouble whatesoever.
This is why I will always shop at Bass Pro. Exceptional service.

pretty excited to get the new sling shot, right out of the box i pulled the cord back several times and the sling it self broke.. kinda disappointed with the quality

thought it would be a funny gift for my has-everything father in law... he thought it was great and immediately went in the backyard to try it out. about 3 shots later the "leather" strap you pull back with snapped :( returned it for store credit since it was kinda just a gag anyways... but I'd be pretty bummed if I had real plans for it.

I have the steel shot you can find anywhere, the white glass shot is great also. Heck marbles work on this thing.A:

I would recommend using the size on which you are using it for.1/4"-Birds
5/16"-Small Game/Birds
1/2"-Target Practice
Do Not use any glass,may shatter.
Also no marbles of any sort,may shatter.

Hi,I use mainly 3/8" with my Aftermath Kavia Tactical. 1/2" tracers work great too.
5/16" works OK, but the slingshot is really designed for larger ammo -- 3/8" (or 1/2").
