Rated 5 out of 5Â by championred This hook is worth every penny!!!
These new hooks bring drop shot fishing to a new level. No more guessing on whether the hook is tied properly, the swivel does all the work for you. The octopus hook is an automatic hook set. When changing out your weights - it is much easier. With these features in mind - they are really worth every penny!!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Lance42 Great Drop Shot Hook!!
The first thing I noticed when drop shotting was the line twist. Gamakatsu has the solution! This hook with a swivel eliminates line twist...and you can change your leader quickly and easily. As always with Gamakatsu...super sharp!

You tie your line to the top ( ring) and you use a leader with a wieght and slide it onto the bottom. If the wight gets stuck it will pull free from the hook and you will only loose the wieght

tie you main line to the swivel, then tie a second piece of line to the bottom part of the setup, then crimp on weight or tie one on. You can use several baits, plastic worms, minnows, tubes. whatever you want. throw it out there, and fish it like a jig.Q:Â

if i use this hook for drop-shotting, can i just tie a clinch knot instead of a palomar knot?
Details:Â
i have almost always used the clinch knot for any kind of fising (mainly bass) i know how to tie the palomar knot, but if i had a choice, i would rather tie a clinch knotAnswers
