While I have not fished these hooks yet I am sure they will perform well. I was looking for a strong hook that is really sharp for Salmon fishing. While tying an egg sucking leech with one heard a "tink" sound. I had nicked my finger with the point and did not even feel it. That is sharp. They are about twice as strong as the hooks I was previously using. I told one of my friends that I think I could tow my car with one.
