One of the best hooks I've used. Great for just about any application from Texas Rigging, Carolina Riggs, to soft plastic swim baits. Just pick the size you have confidence in and rig up your favorite bait. These hooks are strong and the "point" is as sharp as any on the market. They simply slide through the jaws of the toughest swimmers in the river or lake. No need to "cross their eyes" when using these babies, as a steady "swish" of the rod is all that's needed to set a rock solid hook.

I've used many brands over the years, and, for the money, there is no better hook than Gamakatsu! They rarely rust, points stay sharp and I've never had one bend or break. Penetration is excellent.

These are my favorite hooks for Texas rigging 4 1/2 inch roboworms. I have never had a problem with these hooks they seem to remain sharp longer than other hooks even after snags, though they will sometimes bend a little if hung up badly. Over all great hooks.
