Rated 5 out of 5 by Gamakatsu® Jigheads - Round 211 Have been using these jigheads for shad on the American River for at least 2 years now. Great hookup ratio. Cost a little more than plain jighead brands, but I'll pay it for the great hook up ratio. Slight tick, line drop, barely snap my wrist, shad on. That simple to use. Play the shad on a lighter drag though, some guys have a tendency to have fish come off on stronger drag settings. I haven't had the problem myself. April 14, 2013
