Rated 5 out of 5 by Great brush hog hooks Great form and stays sharp. The hookset is outstanding. Most of the time you get them in the roof of the mouth. February 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Its my confidence hook I've been using this style hook for years and nothing else comes close for me. I use it for trick, finesse, and other small plastics. The hook is small diameter and penetrates the plastic so easily that it makes my hooksets so easy. June 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by great hooks Sharpest hooks ever. But I did order all black colored hooks, and got silver instead. May 9, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Get the Gammies Good hook, sometimes they will bend a little if using heavy line or braid. This causes plastic baits to hang up afterward. Get the black nickel, the bronze hook point is turned in a little too much for me. May 1, 2012

A 2/0 hook is designed for smaller baits and it can be used for a trick worm, especially if you are looking for a slow fall. If you are targeting fish over 3 lbs, I would opt for a larger hook. Also, a 2/0 hook is great for centipedes, 4" worms, and the smaller size (3 ") beaver type baits.

I have used this hook many times before and it is good for vitrutally anything. With a 2/0 hook I would suggest a 3 to 4 inch plastic worm texas rigged. I fish in farm ponds where there are many small to medium sized bass and this is a very solid rig to use all year round. My favorite color is pumpkinseed or black and pink. You can even add a bullet weight for more distance on casts and to fish it a bit deeper.
