Gamakatsu® Frog Hooks quickly turns any frog bait into a premium frog! Designed with an extra wide gap with points angled perfectly to avoid snags, the frog hooks are made super strong to help pull fish from heavy slop. Non-welded design makes it a great replacement hook for larger lures -- slides easily into place with no split rings needed.

Great Hooks Replaced the hooks on a couple of my custom Snag-proof frogs. Hooks are sharper than factory hooks. No more missed fish. Have already caught two nice bass this year on the frog. Highly reccommend! May 23, 2012
great hooks Love to fish with these on our frogs. Hardly ever miss a fish with them! June 8, 2011
Design That Needs a Tweak Gamakatsu hooks are typically top of the line, and these meet all the manufacturing standards, but the design is a killer. No matter what I do, or how I rig it, the over-sized loop where you tie on destroys the soft baits i use them on. There are a few options around it, but I wish I didn't have to improvise. Use 'em for spoons too. I don't get the chance to throw many frogs where I'm from. The pike would chase them for sure, but they'd get mangled in a hurry. I actually use them for spoons. I take the trebble off and put one of these on. I make sure the hooks ride up (pointing toward the inside of the spoon) so they don't hang up as much! Try it out, you'll see. It also makes it easier to get out of a fish's yap. Especially if that fish has rows of sharp teeth! December 22, 2010
