Rated 5 out of 5 by Can't beat these hooks. My friend turned me onto circle hooks. The fish does all the work, a strike, DON'T try and set the hook. Pressure is all that's needed, the fish does all the work. Circle hooks are the cat's meow for bottom lines. I get 3oz bluegill on an 8/0 hook. Hook size matters for the big fish. Easy to remove. Fish don't swallow larger hooks like fish consume small hooks. Big hooks get both large and small fish. ONE GREAT HOOK design!! Picture a 9# channel cat taken on 6/0 circle hook. April 17, 2012

Not good at drawing. Hook is designed so that when the fish takes the bait in their mouth and starts to swim off, the hook sets itself in the side of the mouth. The hook does the work, no more setting the hook. I've gotten hundreds of large cats with these hooks. Let the hook work, then you reel in dinner.

You will just use one hook at a time just like any other hook to catch catfish. You might search online to find photos on how to hook/use for catfish or contact Gamakatsu®.
