Gamakatsu All-Purpose O'Shaughnessy Hook - Model 130
I have used this extremely sharp and tough hook fishing for hard-fighting snook, redfish, black drum, crevelle jacks, grouper and nurse shark. This Gamakatsu O'Shaughnessy has never straightened, even pulling up monster fish from the depths. These hooks keep their points, rarely need sharpened and are tough! The only drawback is that the conical point is so sharp you will easily hook your fingers a few times in a day of fishing and getting snagged on structure becomes a futile exercise to recover your hook. This is not a defect of the hook however.
They are very uniform and quality is tops right out of the pack.

Good hook for my needs.
I purchase these 7/0 hooks to make trolling rigs that will be used for King Salmon, Silver Salmon, and Halibut.
Size and stiffness are excelent. I gave the hooks a rating of good (four stars) because I will have to sharpen each one before use. It is not a big deal, but an anoyance.
I would reccomend this hook to anyone needing this style and size of hook. I will continue to buy them.

works pretty good
I have had good luck surf casting with this hook. Allthough its pretty hard to rig a rubber mullet (when isnt it?) it has great holding when the fish grabs, which is good because many of us create slack when we pick the rod up off the pipe, and I've never lost a striper because of this. It holds live bait ok, but i find it works better for soft baits.

Great choice among hooks
We are always dependent on very sharp hooks to successful catch hard month fresh water fishes, like the huge red tail bass or the tambaqui. No chances of scaping with those sharp hooks.
