Rated 5 out of 5Â by MikeH321 2nd set Great!
This is my second set of GLox. They are great! Fits on my skiff where I need them. Dimensions (LWH) 8 x 2.5 x 3.25" When these get worn out in 4 or 5 years, I'll get some more. Thinking of using the old ones in my garage for rakes and such.

I have a small 12 ft boat, so rod storage is valuable. I mounted the G-Lox Rod Holder and keep 4 to 5 rods secure and handy. Time will tell how they hold up, but
they did the trick for me.

This is a very simple product. Only 4 screws to hold each of them to your boat. (The package comes with two holders.) I installed it in minutes on the side of my boat on the thin panel. Be careful not to drill through the hull of your boat.
It mounted in a few minutes and then I stuck a rod in it. It holds quite well, and releases easily. No velcro, no straps, nothing, This is going to make it much easier for me to store them plus I won't be tripping over my rods anymore.

I would not compromise the side of your boat with rivets or bolts. I guarantee you that would leak evenually. Weld an aluminum bracket on the side wall if you must have it there or just attach it to the middle seat on the opposite side you fish. Mine is on the middle seat and it works great.Answers

how are the but of the rod's held? or dose it even come with that pice ?Answers

The but end of the rod is free inside the tube. The reel is what supports the weight of the rod in the notch on the tube. This also keeps the rod and reel from rotating during travel. They work great in a boat.
