The G30 Subcompact Pistol is a popular choice of plainclothes policemen and protection personnel. The G30 combines GLOCK's highly accurate firing characteristics and the big bore power of the .45 ACP in a size previously occupied only by snub nose revolvers. Like larger GLOCKs, the G30 pairs a corrosion-resistant, ergonomic, stronger-than-steel polymer frame with a durable cold-hammered steel slide and barrel coated with GLOCK's high tech Tenifer 64 HRC surface treatment. The Safe Action trigger system teams a trigger safety, trigger bar, and firing pin lock that automatically deactivate one after another as the trigger engages. GLOCK barrels feature rounded interior profiles for easier cleaning and longer lasting precision. Loaded chamber indicator. Double action. Fixed sights.

A lot for no more than it appears to be
This is my first Glock. I've heard nothing but good things about Glock from everyone so I decided to give it a try. I chose the G30 after needing a conceal carry piece because of it's small frame and big throat. My first time out, I fed it 100 rounds, which it swallowed without a single failure. I love the weight, size, and shape. Recoil is not a problem either. Sure, it has a little flip with the 45 ACP, but it's absolutely manageable and doesn't hurt the shooter like I feared such a small pistol would. Finally, cleaning is a snap. It breaks down into three parts and is easily taken care of due to its rugged finish.
My only concern is it is a one handed gun. Two hands (mine are medium to large) and you get a bit of a bite from the slide. Still, this isn't enough for me to subtract anything from my review of an otherwise excellent pistol that far exceeded my expectation. I'd definitely recommend to a friend.

Great All Purpose Weapon
With a 10+1capacity this gives great capacity in a compact. I have found this gun to be accurate and t0 have very reasonable recoil for a compact. Good for all around use as it is easy to conceal. I would suggest a rubberized grip to help avoid slippage when you shoot, but that is the only modification needed.

very good gun
Ive had this gun for about a year now and it had functioned perfectly. Its easy to carry as its not to bulky and very light. I holds 10+ one in the tube. Alot of firepower in a little package. I highly recommend the finger groove magazine extension, otherwise your pinky hangs off the bottom.
