Specifically designed for concealed carry, the G26 subcompact pistol delivers the same safety and legendary reliability as GLOCK's full size handguns in a size previously occupied only by snub nose revolvers. Like larger GLOCK, the G26 pairs a corrosion-resistant, ergonomic, stronger-than-steel polymer frame with a durable cold-hammered steel slide and barrel coated with GLOCK's high tech Tenifer 64 HRC surface treatment. The Safe Action trigger system teams a trigger safety, trigger bar, and firing pin lock that automatically deactivate one after another as the trigger engages. GLOCK barrels feature rounded interior profiles for easier cleaning and longer lasting precision. Loaded chamber indicator. Double action. Black finish. Fixed sights.

Love My Glocks
We are a family with several Glocks (Husband, Brother, Sister in-law, Nieces and Nephews). We all started with .40 in diferent frame sizes. Recently my youngest daughter 24yo had also expressed an interest. After trying several calibers and manufacturers she also fell back to the 9mm Glock 26. This small/compact frame was a perfect fit for her. Her aim was dead on with it, it wasn't too powerful - so that it remained fun, and the ammunition costs are reasonable. Glocks are glocks. Always ready, always reliable, with point and shoot ease.

Glocks are Glocks. Having said that, I have to say that I appreciate the sub compact Glocks even more so than other handguns in this category. It does indeed conceal well, ergonomically appealing, and functions beautifully. One of the biggest praises I would give the G26 (or any other Glock sub) is that they shoot just as well as their bigger brothers in the compact and full size models.
If I had anything negative to say about it, it would only be half negative. A feature on the Generation 4 version of this, which I would consider an improvement, is a larger magazine release. Depending on what type of holster you are using, you may or may not feel that magazine release. What I mean is that if you are using a small holster such as the New Galco conceal the magazine release can be felt against your side. Not painful, but slightly irritating if you have to sit down a lot in a vehicle or seat with narrow armrests. It's not a hit against the firearm. Probably more of one against the holster. But it is something to consider when you purchase a conceal holster if you chose to make this a CCW. Just worth being aware of. I can literally find no other negative things to say. This is my second favorite Glock out of the 5 that I own.

I am a female who has fired many weapons and I have to say by far this is my favorite. Its light weight and easy to handle. Conseals nicely as well. I never go anywhere without it. If you are looking for an overall great pistol this is the one. You will not be disappointed
