I have owned a glock 21 for thirteen years. My first one was a generation one. I owned it for ten years and shot it thousands of times. The only thing I had to fix was the extractor at eight years of service. The glock was reliable and I would never have to worry if it was going to perform. I traded it in in year ten for a third generation so I could have the light attached to it. The first generation did not have the rails and could not carry a light. So far I have put hundreds of rounds through it with no issues. I trust glock with my life and will not go to another brand. Its easy to use, safe and is very reiable.

I recently purchased this at the Bass Pro in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I knew I wanted the reliability of a Glock, and I knew I wanted a .45, so this was the perfect fit. If I didn't live in California I would have gone for the high capacity model. So far I've only shot about 600 rounds, all without issue. I've found no faults with this handgun, though it takes time to break in the magazines. Glock mag springs are so stiff I still have trouble getting the 10th round in even with the speed loader, but I'm not complaining. It just means I should spend more time at the range! :)

Sure. If you think you can hit a deer from 30-40 yards with a Glock instead of a Rifle, the Glock definitely has knock down power. Shoot, I killed a deer with a 22 rifle when I was 12 years old.
