GLOCK® G17 9mm High Capacity Pistol
The oldest Glock
Of every Law Enforcement agency, Government agency, competition shooter or gun enthusiasts out there, I would bet that over 50% of them have or carry a Glock 17. It was the first Glock handgun for the market. Most of the original 1st generation Glock 17's are still being use to this day. 18 plus 1 rounds of ammunition, slim short frame, light recoil and accuracy are all major points one can say about the Glock 17.
I have owned several different 17's over the years. Either trading or selling them for something else, I have never had a bad thing to say about one. Never an issue that I can think of. I used a 17 in competiton for about 2 years before upgrading to a 1911. I can't even begin to think of the amount of ammo I have put through the different 17's that I have owned.
The agency I currently work for will allow the carry of personal weapons on duty. Over half carry the Glock 17. Its hard to go wrong by it.
If you looking for a high capacity weapon for duty, carry or home protection, you can go wrong with the Glock 17.

I bought this as a replacement for my home defense pistol, .22LR revolver after a snake incident where I wasnt able to reload revolver fast enough. After shooting about 750 rds through the Glock, I feel its a very good gun. Only had one stove pipe jam and one misfeed, stove pipe was from cheap light powered ammo and the misfeed was from the slide being racked to slowly by hand. I just took the CCW class and shot close grouping while shooting really fast. I would recommend to anyone. My next pistol will be another Glock for sure. I didnt like factory sights so I had Tru glo night sights put on and its great.

Its a glock world
I love to shoot Glocks, I have a gen 4 g17 that is my standard range gun. One of the reasons I like this gun so much is that there are so many options of what you can do with it. The stock gun is perfect for home defense, it’s a wonderful gun and leaves very little to be desire. However that being said if you know what your doing (and if you don’t I don’t recommend you try) you can really customize this pistol to do some impressive things. I have replaced a good number of the internals with upgraded parts and have made a boarder line competition gun. Glocks are everywhere and so are their accessories, and after market parts. These guns are so simple and easy to tune you can make it do exactly what you want.

SIMPLY THE BEST !
My Glock 17 has never jammed once. I wish it were a tad bit more accurate though. Seems to shoot a bit left as alot of Glock reviewers claim. Some of that is me though Im sure. Still, very satisfied with this highly dependable, easy maintenance handgun. 600 bucks though?! Thats 150 dollars more than I paid for my new one. So, Im giving the gun a 5 star rating, not the price
