Its a glock world I love to shoot Glocks, I have a gen 4 g17 that is my standard range gun. One of the reasons I like this gun so much is that there are so many options of what you can do with it. The stock gun is perfect for home defense, it’s a wonderful gun and leaves very little to be desire. However that being said if you know what your doing (and if you don’t I don’t recommend you try) you can really customize this pistol to do some impressive things. I have replaced a good number of the internals with upgraded parts and have made a boarder line competition gun. Glocks are everywhere and so are their accessories, and after market parts. These guns are so simple and easy to tune you can make it do exactly what you want. February 29, 2012
Old reliable Simpley put, this weapon system is about as reliable as they come. The 17+1 capacity is a nice plus. This weapon has never let me down. October 21, 2014
SIMPLY THE BEST ! My Glock 17 has never jammed once. I wish it were a tad bit more accurate though. Seems to shoot a bit left as alot of Glock reviewers claim. Some of that is me though Im sure. Still, very satisfied with this highly dependable, easy maintenance handgun. 600 bucks though?! Thats 150 dollars more than I paid for my new one. So, Im giving the gun a 5 star rating, not the price January 30, 2012
All around great gun I got this gun back in 1991. I have put countless rounds through it and it has never jammed on me. I just do the basic cleaning on it. I have yet to replace any parts on it. For me it really shines when I'm doing tactical shooting no need for all the mod's that alot of the other people do to there pistol's. The only draw back is if you have small hands it could be a problem May 26, 2011

A:
All the Glocks are considered "striker fired"..It is closer to a single action trigger pull but not quite..The striker is partially set by the rearward movement of the slide during recoil..The remaining pull is very light and short..Rapid fire is almost as fast as single action..Glocks have no manual safety so the easy trigger can be a double edged sword..Be careful..Follow NRA gun rules especially when reholstering..
