Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Product I have used G96 gun treatment for years. It is great for cleaning and lubricating. It works great on actions of semi automatic rifles. It is excellent in cold wet weather. I put a light coat on my rifles before putting them back into the gun cabinet to protect them. It is a excellent product. October 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good overall product. I have been shooting for years and am new to this product. I have noticed after cleaning the the copper fouling out of your rifle bore and have any traces of powder residue, if you let this sit in the bore overnight it makes removing the leftover powder residue alot more simple. Rated 5 out of 5 by THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS! This aerosol cleaner, solvent, lubricant and protectant is probably the best all around gun cleaner I have ever used. It can be used on the metal, plastic, and lumber parts. Been using it for over 20 years. A thin film seems to displace condensation and humidity. It may be a bit pricy, but you generally get what you pay for. July 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best anti-rust I have used G96 on firearms and assorted steel since 1975 and never had a failure. A light coat put on swords in 1992 and hung on wall - no rust. This is a fantastic product. June 28, 2011

I have used this when cleaning my guns and have had no harm to the bluing or any plastic parts or the synthetic stock on my guns. Plus it has a pleasant "bubble gum" like scent to it.

I do not use it on exterior blued surfaces but have gotten on them in the past with no problems encountered afterward
