I have been shooting for years and am new to this product. I have noticed after cleaning the the copper fouling out of your rifle bore and have any traces of powder residue, if you let this sit in the bore overnight it makes removing the leftover powder residue alot more simple.

This aerosol cleaner, solvent, lubricant and protectant is probably the best all around gun cleaner I have ever used. It can be used on the metal, plastic, and lumber parts. Been using it for over 20 years. A thin film seems to displace condensation and humidity.
It may be a bit pricy, but you generally get what you pay for.

I have used G96 on firearms and assorted steel since 1975 and never had a failure. A light coat put on swords in 1992 and hung on wall - no rust. This is a fantastic product.
