Rated 5 out of 5 by G96 Gun Treatment I have used G96 Gun Treatment on all of my firearms for over 25 years. I have not found any product that performs better. It has always provided long lasting protection against rust. It is an excellent lubricant that has kept my firearm actions working smoothly. I have always used it on all of the metal surfaces of my firearms for protection, lubrication and cleaning. I am very surprised that I have not found it in more sporting goods stores. I have used this when cleaning my guns and have had no harm to the bluing or any plastic parts or the synthetic stock on my guns. Plus it has a pleasant "bubble gum" like scent to it.

I do not use it on exterior blued surfaces but have gotten on them in the past with no problems encountered afterward
