G5 Outdoors T3 Expandable Mechanical Broadheads
Done with Mechanicals
Tried another brand.... lost 2 deer did not open... Read about these and decided that I should step up and try again with the G5... Well took my daughter and used a crossbow. She had a beautiful shot on a doe at 15 yards. I watched the arrow hit perfect hit.... So excited I could barely sit still. Her first deer at 10! Recovered arrow, blades deployed and had good blood at the shot site.. Tracked this doe for about 30 yards til the blood just started dripping. Her first deer I did not want to lose. Tracked for about another 100 yards on hands and knees following one drop of blood at a time. Then just stopped.....
Going back to traditional broadheads!

Worst broad head ever
Fell apart after a few shots into a "block" target.
Very poor craftsmanship.

I just bought a 3 pack of these before our bow opening trip in Aug 2011. I was using a two blade 2 inch expandable broadhead before. However on our spot and stalk hunts those broadheads almost always fell open or were jarred open by the time I got to full draw. It was sooooo frustrating. Then I read about the t3 by g5. I was skeptical at first but decided to try them anyway and my first shot performed flawlessly. The arrow flight is true to field point flight and the devastation on a slightly back shot on a black bear was indeed truly devastating. The black bear expired in about 100 yards on a just okay hit. Upon harvest, we found our arrow at full expansion pass through and remarkable effect on the bear, with a shot that was a bit far back. I am so glad I switched to these broad heads. Far more confident that I ever was with the Rage.

I shot 4 deer with this product. Two deflected on a slight quartering to and away shot. Three did not pass through. Found all my deer ( thank God) but not happy with tip overall. All my rages and slick tricks zipped right through all my deer (10 total). One shot that was perfect broadside did not pass through, did not hit bone, two blades broke, one deployed. WIll never purchase them again. Giving three of them to a friend who likes them.
