I shot a nice buck this year with this fixed blade and it performed very well.I hit him a little farther back than i wanted to(liver shot) and it opened him up like a can of spaghetti0"s.Nice blood trail! he ran about 60 yards before he expired.I would recommend this head to anyone.Very sharp! right out of the box, and fly very close to field points.

This is a very lethal breadhead with devastating
penatration and cutting potential. The 1 1/2 inch hole this broadhead makes is indescibably huge. I've used a lot of broad heads but find the G5 Striker Magnum flies very straight from my old Hoyt and does exaclty what it is designed for - make a big hole. Deer down -- Turkey next.

If you're looking for a massive cutting diameter, buy these blades...the 1.5" cutting diameter looks like a crater in the animal after striking it...2 huge positives with this, 1) the animal bleeds out much faster, which means less suffering and less distance ran after strike so tracking blood trail is much easier and 2) even if you don't make the best shot, you have a better chance of at least clipping vitals of animal with these blades as opposed to a blade with smaller cutting diameter...I have shot several blades, fixed and expandable, but as soon as I screwed these onto my Red Hot High Velocity bolts, I knew I would never shoot anything else...buy these, you won't be disappointed

I used these broadheads for the first time this archery season here in california. I made 2 shots the entire season and killed 2 bucks. One buck dropped in his tracks and the other ran about 50 yards. These broadheads have flown straight for me out to 60 yards and i only had to adjust my sight about 1/8" from my field points. These broadheads cause massive damage. I would recommend them to anyone
