Field Point Accuracy I just received my G5 Striker broadheads. I immediately took them out to test. I threw two field points down range and then followed up with a Striker. The broadhead took one of the vanes off of the field point arrows. I haven't "broadhead tuned" my bow and don't think I am going to have to. The shots were consistent out to 40 yards. I can't wait to use these in the field. August 11, 2011
G5 I bought 6 of these broadheads in the Fall of 2010. I shot a buck with one, great shot, waited an hour on him, went and looked and was no blood....long story short, found the deer, ran 100 yards dead.....broadhead destroyed and with no blood trail...i believe i will be heading back to Thunderheads.... Rock-solid Head I'm one of those guys who loves simplicity and durability in his archery equipment and these heads satisfy those needs. I've shot them all the way out to 50 yards with no accuracy problems and blasted one through both shoulders of an unsuspecting doe last fall. The head was still solid after the impact and burying 6 inches in the ground. I didn't trust the straightness of the blades after an impact like that, so I threw in some replacement blades and it was back in the quiver the next day. You may not get the massive cutting diameter you'll get with an expandable, but you also don't have to worry about these heads failing you in the clutch. They're tough, accurate, and blast through bone. What else could you want? June 20, 2011
super sharp I used these broadheads this past year and shot 2 deer with them. The farest one made it was about 75 yards. These broadheads are super sharp and do the job. I recommend these and think they are the best fixed broadhead on the market. January 19, 2011
