G5 Outdoors Montec Fixed-Blade Broadheads
cuts deep and strong
I use this same broadhead on an easton axas 400 and have taken more than 5 deer that never went more than 10-20 yards. The cut this broadhead produces is wicked.Like a 7mm. had shot each one.and dont worrie if you hit some bone, this is a solid one piece steele that will break the bone with out thinking about it.Like a hammer.

First of all I shoot A Diamond Justice Bow assembled for me @ Orlando Fl store. 1st year bow hunter I did not shoot bullwinkle but I was fortunate enough to shoot A nice Buck @ 54yards. The G5 we'll lets just say no problem finding trail double lung shot. I shot G5 practice points 50 a day for 90 days before season and and I believe that having the chance to practice with identical broadheads as I intend to hunt with works. Awesome product.

Sharpness an issue
These are great durable broadheads that fly very straight, but I have an issue with thier sharpness. These are nowhere near "razor sharp" as they are described and after seeing the performance they had on a doe I shot last year with brand new blades, they do not penetrate and cut as effectively as I feel a broad head should. I am however excited to try out G5's Stryker ....it should be much better with its replaceable blades, but keeping with the same Monoflow design for stability.

G5 by montec
None of the other broadheads i have used would have done the job this one did in my experiance! I wouldn't recommend takeing a 50 yard shot at a bull elk with a 100 grain broadhead, but that's what i did. The broadhead and arrow busted through two ribs and sliced through the armpit muscle peircing the innerhide on the other side. I was amazed at the penetration and damage from that distance. The only damage i could find ont the broadhead was at the very tip. the point was barely of center you could only feel it with your fingernail. I'll never shoot anything other....
