Very good broad head. Killed a bull elk last year. Complete pass through at 50yards. Flys extremely well same as my field tips with no adjustments needed. Yes they are susceptible to rust, but being carbon they are very easily sharpened and very sharp compared to the G5 stainless. There is a trade off but I knew that when purchasing. If you want hard and less maintenance get the stainless, but know that they are very hard to get a sharp edge on.

This is a great broad-head. This was the first broad-head I ever got. The only problem That I have with this is that it will dull easy. I was shooting it at a target in my yard, missed, and it hit a low branch. It bent the tip to one side. Hopefully I can find someone that can resharpen it. It is not stainless steel so it will rust. But, it is easy to sharpen this is a great broad-head.

I went hog hunting down in Texas and read a lot of reviews about what broadhead to use. Of course everyone had a different opinion so I bought the Montec CS. This broadhead was amazing. I had a pass through shot with the hog only running about 25 yards. After inspecting the broadhead it was still as sharp as it was out of the box. Arrow didn't fair as well it has to be re-fletched but the broadhead will go on another arrow without even needing to be sharpened. I will be using these broadheads for everything I hunt now.

was using rage 2 blade and lost two deer. started to do some researcher and found them not opening. got these and the are right on the money with the feild points, very very sharp. will not use nothing else. its all about shot placement not the size of broadhead. these are awesome
