I purchased the CMAX after having fletching contact issues with my Trophy Ridge Revolution Rest. Initially after installation it appeared everything was working properly. Bow is Quest Rogue, to make a long story short, I found out there was a contact issue with the CMAX. After three trips back to Bass Pro, one which I wound up leaving my bow for the techs to play around with the rest. They found an internal spring that was broken, repaired that. Picked it up took a few shots and it seemed to be okay. Next day after a few shots realized there was still a contact issue.
The cables on Quest bows don't allow for clearance of the cables (using 2" blazer vanes) so you can't shoot with cock vane up at 12 o'clock. I'm left handed so I have to turn the vane slightly to the left about 11 o'clock for clearance.
I wound up returning the CMAX and purchasing another rest.
In the pic provided you can see how I had to turn the vanes to 11 o'clock, and in the other pic if you look at the inner arm you can see where the vane was making contact on the inner arm.
Love the concept, wish it would have worked for me.

I bought this product after reading reviews in a magazine about the durability and new design. I thought I might have struck gold with it untill the very frist shot I took. I had the arrow rest installed by a local archery shop on my Hoyt charger, and as soon as I took my very first shot it failed. It wouldnt drop and even when it did it wouldnt be fast enough for the vanes/fletching of my arrow to clear it on the way threw. Stick with a rip cord or trophy ridge drop away.
