There are other high-modulus graphite rods as tough and durable as the GL3, but not one of them can match it for weight. Its featherweight construction generates increased casting distance, greater accuracy, more sensitivity— and less fatigue than costlier rods.

  • Technique-specific rods
  • Crafted of proprietary ''blended fibers''
  • Redesigned looks and actions
  • Ideal for vertical jigging where precise lure control and presentation are critical
  • Downsized guides for maximum performance

The G.Loomis Walleye Series Rods are technique-specific spinning rods for whacking walleye. Armed with valuable feedback from tournament anglers, guides and G.Loomis Fish Team members like Dan Plautz, G.Loomis designers have amped up the entire series. Rods sport redesigned look and actions. Over the years, some techniques have been refined, calling for more precise tapers and length adjustments to cover the most technical aspects of the fishery. Rods are crafted from the company's proprietary ''blended fibers'' with Fuji Alconite guides.

The G.Loomis Walleye Series Rod is ideal for vertical jigging, allowing precise lure control and superb presentations. Blanks are an inch longer to make the rod a tad softer. It's a subtle change, but one that can make a big difference when that lunker makes a last minute lunge away from the net. This extra inch also affords a little more protection for lighter lines. Made in USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by awesome I have the 7'6" light power spinrod. Don't let the LIGHT action scare you. More like a medium. I can't believe the power, sensitivity, and light weight. July 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Rods Own 9 G Loomis rods. They are simply the best rods out there. The senensitity is unmatched. October 5, 2012
