Bought this for my wife, tried it out and will be getting me one. Very sensitive rod, nice action. this allows you to feel every hit. Balance is perfect.

This is the second one of these rods I have purchased and they are excellent rods that live up their name (G-Loomis). They both have excellent feel and hook setting power. I have alot of other rods but these are the BEST.

A 6' to 7' medium to medium/heavy rod with a moderate tip would work well for Texas, Alabama and Wacky rigs.Details:Â
Is the 7 foot medium heavy action moderate rod good for deep cranking possibly with a strike king 6xds?Answers

For the 6XD and DD22/DT16 or 20 I would go to the Heavy model.The MH is perfect for 5XD and DT10 sized baits as well as the KVD 1.5 and 2.5.
