  • Made in USA

Not satisfied with your current crankin’ stick? Then add a new, softer dimension to your arsenal with G.Loomis® Crankbait Deep Flex Series Rods. Specifically developed for fishing shallow runners, deep divers and lipless crankbaits, the lightweight Crankbait Deep Flex Series Rods are designed with slower tapers and softer flex to provide unbelievable sensitivity and lure control. The Deep Flex Series Rods’ softer flex and slow taper really give crankbaits a lot more action and appeal by allowing the bait to naturally work over or around cover, the way they are designed. The softer flex and slow taper also results in fewer short strikes, poor hook-ups and missed fish. Another advantage of the Crankbait Deep Flex Rods’ softer action is that it’s very forgiving when fish run or jump, which reduces the chance of losing them. Made in USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GLoomis w/ Revo STX I have 4 GLoomis rod and have paired them up with Abu Garcia's Revo's they make a great combo. I plan on purchasing at least a couple more November 27, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Rod!! I have the 6'6" and it is outstanding. It is about the lightest rod I have ever used. Loomis also has a great program that you can send your rod back if it gets broken and for $50 they will replace it no questions asked. February 26, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by pure awesome I have to say, I love my Powells, but I finally decided to try a G Loomis rod, and I'm impressed. This cranking rod is the lightest rod I've ever used, excluding the NRX. The 7-5 Heavy is perfect for launching deep divers out yards upon yards over the lake. Pair this rod with a Revo Winch or Curado, and your set for some heavy duty cranking. I like to use 10-12lb Seaguar fluorocarbon. October 11, 2010

A:
This rod would be a good rod for top water applications do to the slower action allowing for the fish to be able to fully take a top water plug without pulling the bait out of the fish's mouth too quickly.
