Rated 5 out of 5 by awesome Good to use with a small bait caster such as shimano chronarch 50E. I even use it in rivers. just a top notch rod for smallmouth of all sizes. You can feel everything you bait hits i.e. branches, stumps, big rocks, even the smallest bites. i wouldn't try to use this rod in anything over 10 ft though personally July 6, 2012
