I got one at the Bass Pro Shop and used it 5 time and on the fifth time it bent and is not useable now. It was hard to cut the potatoes when using, I have used one before a different brand and it last for years it was about $50 though. So u get what u pay for.

Use the money you would spend on this cheap and troubling cutter and use it towards a quality french fry cutter. Cutting fries and a blade broke out. What's up with that.

Had one and it broke the first time, plastic and not durable. Save your money and get a better one.

For twenty bucks I wasn't expecting the world, but the quality of this product is horrible. Right out of the box the plastic portion of the handle slides up and down the metal frame which is very annoying when you're halfway through a pile of potatoes.
The end-cap of the lever that controls the suction base also fell off as it is not even glued onto the lever itself, not that it really matters since the suction base will not stick to any surface in my house aside from a very small section of the stove-top.
Lastly, the blades themselves barely want to slice through the potatoes without the distinct feeling that the entire unit itself is about to break into pieces.
I have very low tolerance for companies that sell poor products bearing their name (the BPS logo is displayed prominently on the box). Instances like this make it very likely I will take my money elsewhere in the future.
