I bought this bow at Bass Pro about 6 years ago. Loved the look, and enjoyed shooting it. Used it in the backyard maybe monthly and only hunted three or four times with it. Had the lower limb break in half last Saturday target shooting before the afternoon hunt. I contacted Bear customer service about what could have gone wrong or if there was any kind of repair or credit I could get on another bow and all they had to say was “Sorry sir but the bow has a 1 year warranty.” I am extremely disappointed in their tepid response. This was a lot of money for a bow and I expected it to last, but it did not. I won’t buy another Bear product again. I am a normal person and not particularly known for my feats of strength.

Unfortunately, we only sell the SuperMag 48 Recurve Bow in a right hand model. Thank you!Answers

This, like all Bear bows are great. However, you should think about what you will use the bow for, hunting, stump shooting, target. Usually, a longer bow gives easier handling, a bit more forgiving. The Bear Grizzly or Martin X-200 are good bows at similar or a bit cheaper prices. You could also buy something even less expensive like a takedown bow that will give you similar results. Try them out if you can.1 of 1
