I had ordered these calipers based upon the reviews and price. Today, they finally came in the mail and I opened them up to insure that they worked. As soon as I opened the battery compartment, a tiny little piece of metal fell out. I assume that it is for holding the battery in place, but due to it's size, I can't put it back where it should be, let alone make sure it stays in place. Others may not have this experience but if the quality control and manufacturer let's this slip, I can't recommend this brand. The only thing I can say in their defense is that I didn't get a chance to send this pair back and this is my only experience with Frankford arsenal products.

I purchased these calipers because they are digital and easier to see. They seem to work well and they hold measurments good.

I'm brand new to reloading so I needed a digital caliper at a decent price. So far it have been very good. Extremely accurate, and very consistant. Simple to lock in place if i need to keep a specific measurement. The depth measurement at the bottom is a nice feature that I didn't expect but have found myself using quite a bit.
I'd highly recommend this if you're just starting out reloading. I can't speak about its value to an experienced reloader yet. However it seems to meet my needs.
