Nice little setup... My GF and both our daughters hate getting their fingers dirty. I get fat happy worms, they get less mess on their fingers. A win win.

This is the ONE!!!
I have used this worm habitat for keeping and breeding all my Canadian Night Crawlers. So far they have multiplied and thrived in this unit in the past six months. I feed them Magic Worm Grow every 3 days with just a small amount on top (Bass Pro Shops didn't have the food Fat and Sassy available.) Don't worry the worms will find the food just fine. I turn the container over to keep air in the bedding about every 3 days The worms seem to like this since they need to breathe! I keep mine in the fridge at about 45-50 degrees. Fortunately I'm divorced and don't have the hassle explaining all this to a wife. The unit is very well constructed and should last many years. Like any pet though you have to feed them and make sure you don't leave the box out uncovered too long. They die a 65 degrees. Buy one you'll be glad you did.

ok for bait worms
I wish they would tell the customer the 'special' bedding smells of ink and I presume is mulched newsprint. (i found corners of pages in it).
The reason this is particularly important to me is I bought this to store crawlers and raise them for my pet bass. The crawlers eat the bedding so ingest the ink. I hope it's not toxic to bass whether they be caught and released or people's tank pets.
Other than that it seems an ok product.
