Frabill’s traditional Wooden Trout Nets are individually hand-crafted from high-quality hardwood for long-lasting, durable performance. The Trout Net is designed with an 11'' x 15'' teardrop hoop, 8'' wooden handle and a deep clear, tangle-free rubber basket that protects fish’s slime and prevents hooks from snagging. This trout-and angler-friendly net includes a handy elastic lanyard with a clip closure for hassle-free attachment to fishing vest, chest pack or belt loop. Imported.

Great price and works better than most Had to write a review on this one. Had passed on many of the much more expensive rubber fly nets, but at this price had to try them out. I've been using rubber nets on my boat for years, and now will never go back to netting on the river. The rubber net works great - absolutely no snags from flailing trout, and much easier on the fish. Good build quality for the price too. Try one, you'll never go back. August 4, 2009

It's fit a 22 inch Bull, a 24 inch brown, and a 21 inch rainbow for me before... It might do the trick for steel!

A:
Probably too small for a steelhead. Frabill makes a slightly large version which would work better.

Smaller steelhead, yes, but anything over 28-30" would be pushing the limits...

A:
The total weight of the net is 13oz. However, the majority of the weight is in the netting itself, so it feels heavier than it really is.

I hope this helps.
