Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Graet minnow bucket Even in this extrem heat this bucket keeps them alive and perky. I have left bait in this for a week in the house and use them again the next weekend. Saves us lots of money in buying mnnows. Highly recomend this for live bait. July 21, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Aerates like mad Works very well, kept minnows alive for 24 hours. Was still running on the same two batteries. Compact, doesn't take up a lot of space on boat. It's a Frabill so it is well made. Does tend to tip over when empty, but just take batteries out if this is a problem. July 14, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bait Bucket Purchased this bucket (8 qt.) a while back and used it the first time this weekend. It has kept the minnows alive and swimming for a week now. Just do a partial water change every day. Batteries last as advertised and it will run on one D cell if that's all you have - just not as long. Great Item, well made and durable. June 2, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Does what it should !st time out I put 10 dozen minnows in it and most of them survived the night. 10 dozen was a little ambitious for the fishing trip but most of them survived the 2 day fishing binge. The batteries are still good and are ready for another go at it. May 12, 2011

A:
It does both. Floats great, just remember to put it in the boat before you go trolling or else it will kill the minnows.

Yes it has a handle. It gets a little lopsided when low but very manageable.

I bought the pump by itself. I'm not aware of it running on a 12 volt charge. I am sure that it runs on 2 D-cell batteries. I use mine a lot and I have had it for about 3-4 months. I have yet to replace the batteries in it, though, it is getting about time to. I hope this is helpful!
