Is a nice addition to the boat. Seems to be well made, light and with bps pole storage clips can go any where on the boat!

great item i recomend this for anyone who is concerned with storage and convenience of their gear. the net is strong and has a wide opening to handel the big fish. the extending handel makes this net very useful in many situations.
i recomend.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by papadave It is a trout net
Just received mine today, and it's true to it's name. It opens/closes easily and stows very compact. Although it appears well constructed, it is lightweight. I don't think I'd try to net anything over 10lbs with it. This isn't a big fish net!

It may be designed for a kayak or a canoe BUT, I fish from a 25' Searay Cruiser which is not a fishing boat. The net works great for this application that has limited abilities as a fish catching platform. Make sure you wash the net before you stow it.

I was wondering if the netting is strong and small enough to be used to scoop out frogs and tadpoles from under bushes in ponds.Answers
A:Â
The netting is 3/16" mesh, very strong netting, should be able to scoop frogs anyway.Details:Â
is this net packable ? how big is it closed up ? can i deploy it 1 handed?is it durable enough for packing in to river
Answers
A:Â
yes this is packable. 24"x3" when I was in the river, I kept it at its shortest length of 24" with the hoop looked open, and hung it on my side, and it worked well. To deploy it more than 24" you need two hands. And yes,it is most durable for the river.A:Â
The Frabill net is packable and is about 20" closed. Packs in the back of my trout vest. Only takes a second to open the net.Top 250 Contributor
