This is a great idea for a bait bucket . My bait does last overight. My problem with this product is it just doesnt last. It worked the first 3 times and the motor died. I did contact the company and they did replace the pump. After the second time of it dying they sent me the pump for $40. Now I am on the 3rd time of it dying , I can't see keep on spending $40 to get it fixed. I am done with this bait bucket. I am 34yrs old and take care of my stuff the pump needs some looking into.I had it not even 2 yrs. The key is to keep the water cool it does the trick. $120 so far to keep shrimp alive- id rather go back the next day and buy another couple dozen. Fix the pump guys ! I have a normal airator that I've had for 5 yrs cost me $10

While this bait bucket is a bit on the pricey side, it does work very well. It last me nearly a week of constant running on the D cell batteries, but i normally hook it up to a small 12v 8aH battery and will last forever. The air stone diffused bubbles of perfect size(not to small so the bait swallow them and turn to floaters). The built in aerator works very well. Ive taken it out in snow and rain many times and its still working 7 years later. My only gripe is the cost and the Styrofoam. The styrofoam will get gunked up and smell if you don't take very good care of it and clean it often.

The bait container keeps the minnows alive and kicking. Just hook up your twelve volt suppy and you are ready to fish.

I purchased this bait bucket several years ago and have nothing but problems ever since buying it. I have returned it year after year and still same problem, motor keeps dying.. I could not even estimate how much money I have lost due to this equiptment failure.
