Four Strand Nylon Floss
I've been tying flies for too many decades and noticed the reviews regarding difficulty with the strands of floss. Thought I'd give a tip used by many tyers that might help. Roll off a strip of ALL 4 strands and cut to the length you need to tie. Wet the floss which will hold the strands together. You can use water but plain ol' saliva works just fine. Tie one end to the hook then wet the fingers holding the floss so it stays wet while spinning onto the hook. Tie off. Floss will dry to its natural color. hope this helps.

I should have read the description better. With all 4 strands on one spool, it is pretty difficult for my 8 year old son and I to use. I'll need to get s few empty spools to load the 4 separate strands on so we can use them effectively.

not dental floss
using floss takes some adjusting but makes nice tapered bodies and when sepateated can be used like oval tinsle it takes a good bibbin and alot of spinning to keep it together
